AovUp Core is the small plugin that brings you updates for your AovUp plugins. Because of a bug, AovUp Core versions before 1.2.2 don’t show AovUp plugin updates in WordPress, and they can’t update themselves. So your site may be missing recent fixes, including three important security updates:
- Restriction Rules 1.3.1
- AIO Checkout Pro 1.0.11
- Tax Exemption 1.1.7
To check your version, go to Plugins in WordPress and find AovUp Core. If it is older than 1.2.2, install the new version by hand once. After that, AovUp updates appear in WordPress as usual.
How to update (a few minutes per site)
- Make a backup of your site before updating.
- Log in to your account on aovup.com and open Downloads. Next to any of your AovUp plugins, click “Click To Download Plugin Installer”. That file is the latest AovUp Core.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin. Choose the file and click Install Now.
- Click “Replace current with uploaded”.
- Go to Dashboard > Updates and update your AovUp plugins, starting with Restriction Rules, AIO Checkout Pro and Tax Exemption if you use them.
