How to Create a WooCommerce Wholesale Login

WooCommerce is an ideal platform for creating any online store. It is the most used eCommerce platform worldwide. You can even create a B2B and B2C business on WooCommerce.

But, in such multi customers stores, you’ll have to take care of giving different customer experiences to different customers.

For example, you can create a different login page for regular and wholesale customers.

But you will need help creating a separate WooCommerce wholesale login page for wholesale customers only.

In today’s article, I’ll walk you through the step-by-step process to create a WooCommerce wholesale page using the WooCommerce User Registration plugin. This plugin will allow you to create different user roles, registration/login forms, and more.

In the end, I’ll share a plugin to help you improve your sales and get more customers. So without any further ado, let’s jump into the tutorial.

Why Do You Need a Separate WooCommerce Wholesale Login?

WooCommerce is a very flexible method, but if you have a business model that sells to two different types of customers, like B2B and B2C, then you need to make some adjustments to WooCommerce to make the business successful.

You may want to get additional information from wholesale customers. If you have a single registration/login form, then you, the regular or individual customers, may feel awkward while filling out the registration/login form

So instead of a single form, you can create a separate login page for wholesale customers. This way, both customers can easily login in and enjoy shopping based on their interests.

Now let’s dive into the actual tutorial.

How to Create a WooCommerce Wholesale Login?

As mentioned above, I’ll use the WooCommerce User Registration plugin to create a wholesale login.

This plugin will help you create a separate form for different user roles, and you can use the form’s shortcode to paste the form anywhere on your site.

Please follow the following steps to create a WooCommerce wholesale login.

1. Install and activate the WooCommerce User Registration Plugin

Note: You can skip this step if you have already installed and activated the WooCommerce User Registration plugin.

To install the WooCommerce User Registration plugin, you will need to install the Woosuite Core plugin and activate it with the help of a license key. We have created a Quick Start Guide for you to figure out how to install and activate the WooCommerce User Registration plugin.

2. Create a WooCommerce Wholesale Login Page

Once you have created the wholesale login form and copied its shortcode, we need to create a WooCommerce wholesale page where we’ll paste the shortcode so only wholesale customers can log in using that form and page.

Please follow the following steps to create a page.

5.1. Create a New Page

Please navigate to Pages » Add New from your WordPress admin dashboard to create a new page.

5.2. Give a Name to the Page

Once you click it, a new page will be added to your store, and you’ll be redirected to the edit page.

In the ‘Add Title’ field, you can enter the page title. It can be anything you want. Remember, it will be the H1 tag.

3. Add a Shortcode Block

We need to paste the shortcode we copied in the previous steps. To paste the shortcode, we need to add a shortcode block first.

So to add the shortcode block, please click the black plus icon and search for the ‘shortcode’ in the search bar.

Click the shortcode block to add it.

4. Paste the Shortcode

Once the block is added, please paste the [woos-login] shortcode in the field. The code will automatically generate the form fields on the front end.

Note: If you want to create a custom form, you can view the wholesale form tutorial to learn more about creating a custom form.

5. Publish the Page

Once you have added the shortcode, click the Publish button to publish the page.

6. Final Results

Now, let’s see the final results.

Once the page is published, please visit it to see the WooCommerce wholesale login form.

How to Increase Sales and Get More Customers?

Getting sales and more customers are the primary goal of any online eCommerce store, whether it is a B2B store or a B2C store.

If you have a B2B store, then you may be aware of a sales agent to get more sales. You can use the WooCommerce B2B Sales Agent plugin to add a sales agent to your WooCommerce store.

The sales agent will manage the sales, get new sales and customers, place orders on behalf of customers, and more. This plugin will give you some essential metrics that will help you to convert more customers.

Conclusion

That’s it for today’s article.

I hope you now know how to create a WooCommerce wholesale login page. The form will only be accessible by wholesale customers, while the other user roles can use the default login form/page, or you can create a custom one for them.
