How to Add a Quantity Box For Each Product Variation in WooCommerce?

How to Add a Quantity Box For Variations in WooCommerce?

Here, I’ll show you how to add a quantity box for product variations in WooCommerce so that your users can select any number of quantities of any product variation at once and add them to the cart easily. 

For this tutorial, I am assuming that you already have some variable products in your WooCommerce store. 

If you do not have the variable products, you can add them by navigating to the Products » Add New. 

So let’s dive in and see how you can add a quantity box for product variations in WooCommerce.

1.1. Install and Activate the WooCommerce Product Table Plugin

Note: You can skip this step if you have already installed and activated the WooCommerce Product Table plugin. 

To install the WooCommerce Product Table plugin, you will need to install the Woosuite Core plugin and activate it with the help of a license key. We have created a Quick Start Guide for you to figure out how to install and activate the WooCommerce Product Table plugin.

Note: After installing the plugin, I have created a table to display the product variations in a table on the product page. So to follow along with this tutorial you should read How to List WooCommerce Product Variations Easily tutorial first.

1.2. Navigate to the General Settings of WooCommerce Product Table Plugin

Now, navigate to the Woosuite » Product Table from your WordPress dashboard. 

1.3. Edit the Product Table

Now to edit the product table click on the Edit button next to the product table shortcode. 

1.4. Navigate to Order From Information Tab

Now, navigate to the Order Form Information tab. Here you can add the columns to the product table. You need to make sure that you have added the Add to Cart column.

If you haven’t added the Add to Cart column in your product table then first you need to add the column by dragging the column from the Available columns section and drop it in the selected columns sections.

1.5. Navigate to the Bulk Add to Cart Tab

Now, navigate to the Bulk add to cart tab and expand it by clicking on the (▾) 

1.6. Enable the Quantity Feature

In the bulk add to cart tab, simply enable the Quantity Feature to add the quantity box for each variation in the table. 

1.7. Show Variations in Separate Rows

The next step is to display each variation as a separate row in the table. To do so, select the ‘Separate rows in table(one per variation)’ from the variation settings dropdown.

1.8. Save Changes

Once you have created the table, now click on the Save Changes button on the top to save the changes. 

1.9. Final Results

Now visit any variable product page and you’ll see a quantity box is added for each product variation. 

Now the users will be able to buy any quantity of any variations easily.
