Step 1. Install the Woosuite Core Plugin
To enable the bulk add to cart feature, we will need to install the Woosuite Core plugin. To install the plugin, make sure to download the plugin to your computer. Now, follow the given steps to install the plugin:
- Go to the Plugin’s section, and click on Add New.
- Click on the Upload Plugin.
- Choose the plugin file, and click on Upload.
- After uploading the plugin, click on Install Plugin.
Afterward, it will automatically start installing WooCommerce Quick Order Form plugin. When it is done installing the plugin, it will notify you on the screen. Then, you can find the plugin in the Plugin section of your WordPress dashboard.
Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin > Choose File > Install Now
Now, you will need to Activate the plugin. To Activate the plugin, visit the Plugin’s section, and look for the Woosuite Core plugin. Then, click on Activate.
Plugins > Woosuite Core > Activate
We will now activate the Woosuite license. Follow the next step to activate the Woosuite Core license.
Step 2. Activate The Licence
On the left sidebar of the WordPress tool menu, search for Woosuite, and click on it. In the Woosuite subsection, click on the Activate option. It will redirect you to the new page, where you will need to paste the license key.
In any case, if you are wondering about the license key, you would have received the license key via an email by Woosuite.
So, paste the license key in the given box and click on Activate Licence. After pasting the key, it will automatically install the WooCommerce Quick Order Form plugin.
Woosuite > Activate > Paste Licence > Activate Licence
Step 3. Install The WooCommerce Quick Order Form plugin
We have now installed and activated the Woosuite Core plugin and license on our WordPress website. After activating the plugin, you will get a new option called Woosuite in the WordPress tool menu. In this step, we will now install the WooCommerce Quick Order Form plugin. This plugin is also known as the Product Table for WooCommerce, so don’t get confused.
Click on the Addons option under the Woosuite submenu. In the Addons section, look for the Product Table plugin. By default, the plugin would be off, but you will need to turn it on. So, click on the toggle to install it.
Step 4. Create A New Page
We have to create a new page to add the bulk add to cart functionality to our Woostore. We will use this new page to show the product table. So, start creating a new page and add the necessary information like name and URL.
After making the page, add [product_table] shortcode in the text format on the page. And click on Publish. This shortcode will help us display the product table or quick order form on the page we created.
Note: This shortcode is required to display the product table or to implement bulk add to cart functionality to our WooCommerce store.
Step 5. View the Product Table
We created a new page and added the product table in the previous step. In this step, we will check whether the product table is visible on the page or not. So, head over to the Page section, look for the page you just created and click on View. After clicking on it, it will redirect you to the page you made.
As you can see in the above image, the product table is present on the new page. As of now, the product table will display a little information about the products. It will show four columns, including Product Name, Description, Price, and the Add to Cart button.
There will be no checkboxes at this moment besides the products to select multiple products at once. We will check this out in the next step.
Step 6. Configure the Product Table Plugin
Now, we will need to configure the plugin setting to make it work correctly. So, head over to the Woosuite Submenu and click on Addons. In the Addons section, search for the Product Table for WooCommerce and click on Manage. Now, it will redirect you to the new page. The new page will contain a few different sections, and each section will include varied settings.
There you will find multiple different options. But you don’t need to configure them all. Some settings are developed for specific situations only.
In short, these aren’t necessary to configure. So, I'll not be talking about all the settings present on the page. I'll only mention the settings which are important to implement the bulk add to cart button.
Order Form Settings:
Shop Page: This option states whether you want to display the product table on the shop page or not. You can toggle this on if you want to; otherwise, let it be turned off.
Category Page: This option specifies whether you want to display the product table on the category pages or not. If you toggle this on, it will show the product table on all categories published on your site.
Order Form Information Settings:
Columns: This setting refers to the columns you want to add to the product table. You will find the Product Name, Description, Price, and the Add to Cart button by default. However, you can also display more columns like Stock Quantity, Image, Reviews, and more.
You can easily add columns you want to show in the Product Table by selecting them from the drop-down menu. The available columns are SKU, ID, name, description, short description, date, categories, tags, image, reviews, stock, weight, dimensions, price, add-to-cart, and button.
Currently, I'm selecting Product Name, Description, Price, Add to Cart button, Stock, Image, and Reviews. You can choose according to your requirements.
Image: You can also change the image size according to your theme design. By default, it would be 70x50. I'm not modifying it because this size fits well in the product table.
Image Lightbox: You can enable this option if you want images to show in the lightbox. For instance, when a user clicks on the image, it will be displayed in the popup. You can enable this if you want. This will help customers to take a preview of the product.
Description Length: If you have added the Description column to the product table. Then, you can also control the description length. This plugin lets you also set the description limit. For instance, adding 15 will only show the first 15 characters of the description in the table. If you want to display the whole description, you can enter -1 in the given box.
Bulk Add to Cart Settings:
Add to Cart Button Display: By default, it would be Button only. However, you have to select it for Checkboxes Only. Now, it will start showing the checkbox alongside all products in the product table. The position of the checkbox will depend on your theme design.
Quantities: This option will allow users to change the quantity before adding the products to the shopping cart. If you want to offer this choice, you can toggle it by clicking on it. However, if you turn off this option, users can only modify the quantity by going to the cart. This increases one step in the whole buying process.
Performance Setting:
Lazy Load: This option states that it will load one product at one time. In other terms, lazyload means the system will load images slowly and take more time than before. This helps your site load faster and improves the user experience. Don't enable this if you have already enabled the lazy load feature in the cache plugin. Otherwise, it can cause issues and break the site.
Rows Per Page: Add the rows you want to display on one page in this setting. For example, if I want to show five rows in the product table, I will keep it five.
So, these are some of the essential settings. Make sure to cross-check your setting with the images attached above. Read the next step to know how to customize the product table.
Step 7. Customize the Product Table Or Quick Order Form
This plugin also allows you to customize the product table in a few steps. Go to the Woosuite submenu and search for the Product Table option. Click on the Product Table. It will send you to a new page with some settings on it. Scroll down and search for the Order Form Design section.
Now, set the option to Custom. After selecting Custom, you will see some design options. From there, you can set product table color, font, and background color.
Step 8. Final Results
We have made the required changes. Now, it's time to check the Product Table to see how it's looking. As you can see, the product table looks attractive compared to earlier. You can also see the new columns I added from the Product Table plugin settings.
